About
Mithras Capital Partners was a private equity fund of funds manager, formed in 2007 following the acquisition of Tandem Private Equity by Mithras Investment Trust. The firm focused on predominantly pan-European buyout funds but had the ability to invest in other areas of the private equity market. In April 2009, Mithras Capital Partners became the Investment Manager of Mithras Investment Trust, which in turn was the majority owner of Mithras Capital. This led to Mithras Capital Partners becoming effectively self-managed. As of 12th September 2018, Mithras Investment Trust was voluntarily liquidated by passing of a special resolution by its shareholders.
