Econergy was established in 1994 as a consultancy firm focusing on clean and conventional energy projects, and developing a worldwide network that stretches from Chile to China and Mali to Mexico. In October 2004, as part of its evolving strategy to build, acquire, own and operate a strategic portfolio of investments in clean energy projects, Econergy raised CleanTech Fund (CTF), a private equity fund focused on investment in clean energy projects in Latin America.
