Loudwater Investment Partners is a London-based investment house that focuses on investing in private pre-IPO and late stage companies with a focus on the London AIM market. The firm has no sector bias, but it does not pursue mineral exploration, pharmaceuticals or property, and approximately half of its investments are in technology companies. Loudwater invests in the UK and North America but does not invest in early stage companies. Having changed its name from Panmure Capital in 2007, Loudwater generally invests by way of convertible loans in anticipation of a listing or trade sale.
