CHCF Health Innovation Fund is the venture capital arm of the California HealthCare Foundation, an Oakland-based firm dedicated to advancing meaningful, measurable improvements in the way the healthcare delivery system provides care to the people of California. CHCF Health Innovation Fund supports healthcare technology and service companies that have the potential to significantly lower the total cost of care or substantially improve access to care for low-income Californians. The firm will not invest in companies that primarily focus on the areas of healthy food, fitness, pharmaceuticals, or biotech and does not invest in medical devices that require Class II or Class III FDA approval.
