Catalyst Investment Management (Catalyst Private Equity) is a Jordan-based fund management firm that focuses on energy and water sectors covering primarily the Middle East and North Africa. The firm launched its first PE fund in late 2006, a venture capital fund that invested in energy and water technology firms in Jordan, Egypt, the West Bank, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE within the MENA region. The Infrastructure Arm focuses on MENA Clean Energy Fund, with anchor investors from Europe and a portfolio of solar PV projects. Wind and other renewable and energy efficiency projects are also within its scope. Catalyst Investment Management deliberately allocates funds to help activities and projects that are sustainable and address climate change.
