January Partners is a unique investment firm that seeks to acquire businesses one at a time and accelerate each company's growth by supplying active management. The firm pursues profitable, established services companies based in the US where the owners are seeking liquidity and a transition out of daily management. January Partners will not make minority investments or pursue start-ups or unprofitable companies. The firm has a bias against heavy manufacturing, capital intensive industries, unionized labor and consumer/retail companies. January Partners will also avoid industries with high levels of regulatory uncertainty. The firm is no longer active.
