Baring Private Equity International (BPEI) has been investing in every major market outside of the USA via six regional funds with dedicated local investment teams. Baring Private Equity Partners (BPEP) invests via four regional fund groups with local investment teams in Russia, Asia, India and Spain. As of 21 December 2005, the business of Baring Corilius Private Equity (BCPE) has been acquired by Société Générale Asset Management Alternative Investments (“SGAM AI”), a member of the Société Générale Asset Management (“SGAM”) group. Baring Corilius Private Equity (“BCPE”) covered investments in Central and Eastern Europe.
