BlackEagle typically makes investments in underperforming, troubled, and distressed businesses including mildly underperforming to businesses facing potential liquidation; information challenged situations; contrarian opportunities; non-core subsidiaries of large companies; companies in breach of their covenants; bankruptcy or constrained liquidity situations; insolvent companies either in or out of Chapter 11 bankruptcy; businesses in out-of-favor industries; and companies impacted by globalization and external shocks.
