Founded in 1996, Genesis Partners is a technology-driven venture capital firm based in Israel. Genesis makes investments in seed and early-stage technology start-up companies in Israel and they focus on Israeli information and communication technology companies. Genesis backs companies that combine innovative technology with a focused operational plan to build solid, scalable businesses in markets of significant size. As of February 2019, Genesis is winding down its operations. Genesis sold the majority of its holdings in its fourth fund to Insight Venture Partners with the exception of investments in three companies.
