The Bulgarian-American Enterprise is a private US corporation established in 1991 by the US Congress through the Support for East European Democracy (SEED) Act. The company mission is to actively participate in the development and expansion of the economy in Bulgaria by investing profitably in the Bulgarian private sector. The fund has now completed its mission and is currently winding down its operations and transferring its assets to a legacy foundation, the America For Bulgaria Foundation (ABF).
