Walden Israel is one of the first Israeli venture capital funds that invests in early-stage start-ups. The firm is an independent affiliate of The Walden Group of International Venture Capital Funds. Walden Israel concentrates investments in the following areas such as software, e-commerce, technology, communication, internet, infrastructure and healthcare. As of 2008, the firm has closed down after failing to raise enough capital for its fourth fund, the firm will however continue to support its portfolio companies.
