4C Ventures is an early stage technology venture investor. Most of the investments are in the US, but it has no specific geographic limitations. 4C Ventures emphasises international development with its portfolio companies, with particular emphasis in Europe. 4C Ventures has no practical minimum investment size for an early stage company, although most investments will be at least USD 500,000 but no more than USD 5 million in any one investment round. It is not limited to early stage investing but prefers to become involved with companies at an early stage. 4C Ventures cannot consider investments in biotechnology or medical device companies, or specialty retail, distribution, or manufacturing companies without a strong technology or e-Commerce component.
