Zurmont Management and Madison Management, both private equity companies based in Zurich, joined forces and founded a new firm, Zurmont Madison Private Equity in September 2006. The firm focuses on succession solutions, corporate spin-offs, and management buyouts and buyins of small to mid-market companies active in industrial and branded products as well as business services in Switzerland, Germany and Austria. Zurmont Madison makes controlling investments only and works with companies to increase operating results and to improve their market position. Zurmont Madison Private Equity can also be a partner for deal-by-deal direct co-investments by providing interested investors access to its proprietary deal flow. As of January 2017, the team at Zurmont Madison joined Patrimonium and formed the subsidiary Patrimonium Private Equity Advisors.
