Village Ventures is an early stage venture capital firm based in Williamstown, Massachusetts, and with other US office locations in New York and Denver. Village Ventures invests in entrepreneurs building technology, life science companies in emerging US technology centres and media and consumer products and services. Village Ventures invests in promising opportunities identified by its investment professionals, as well as the local managers of its partner funds. In February 2012 the firm winds down and its co-founder Peabody moves to Greycroft Partners. Co-founder Matt Harris moves to Bain Capital Ventures.
