About
The Mauritius Venture Capital Fund Ltd is the first dedicated venture capital company in Mauritius. Its primary objective is to provide equity or quasi-equity finance to new and expanding businesses as well as successful operations which suffer from weak financial structures. MVCF will invest in most sectors of the economy but in the interest of a balanced portfolio, it will hold investments in a wide range of companies at different stages of their growth and in different sectors of the economy. MVCF's investments range between Rs 1 million to Rs 15 million representing between 10% and 40% of the equity of the investee company. MVCF will reserve the right to nominate a representative to the Board of the investee company.
