Schroder Ventures was an international association grouping a series of private equity firms created in Europe, the US and Asia in partnership with Schroders plc, to advise country-specific private equity funds sponsored by Schroders. These firms operated with increasing independence over time. In 2001, the partnership with Schroders was terminated by mutual agreement and several new firms were created, including Permira and SVG.
