SpecTra invests in middle-market companies based in German-speaking Europe that need operational and/or financial restructuring. The firm targets companies facing a crisis due to succession issue, loss of existing financial partner, over-leverage, management dispute, spin-off or insolvency and has no industry preference as the investment decision is based on the company structural problems rather than on the industry sector. SpecTra focuses on middle sized companies with a proven business model that offer recognised products or services and are active in a stable market. The firm does not consider internet or biotechnology businesses and does not make investments in start-up companies.
