About
Ostrum Private Equity (formerly known as Natixis Private Equity as of March 7th 2018) has developed a range of products and services tailored to meet the requirements of entrepreneurs and investors, bringing together investment teams sharing a global view of their business. Ostrum Private Equity operates in all segments of the private equity market: venture capital, expansion capital, buyout/buy-in capital and funds of funds. It has 20 teams in Europe (France, Spain, Italy, Poland, Sweden, the Netherlands) and in countries offering high potential (Brazil, China, India, Singapore, USA), with a portfolio of nearly 700 investments. Ostrum Private Equity is organised around small teams which are encouraged to develop private equity offerings closely tailored to the needs of both investors and companies. In 2006 Ostrum under its previous Natixis Private Equity set up Dahlia Partners, a France-based fund of funds offering with a Europe-wide field of action. An Asian fund of funds unit, Eagle Asia Partners, and a US one, Natixis Caspian Private Equity, has been sponsored by Natixis Private Equity since 2007 and 2008 respectively. It was announced in February 2010 that a portion of Natixis Private Equity’s domestic direct private equity activity was set to be purchased by AXA Private Equity in a pure secondary transaction. The deal was thought to be worth EUR 534 million and was expected to be fully completed by the end of September 2010. It would involve AXA Private Equity acquiring the portfolios of N.I. Partners, iXEN, and Initiative & Finance. Upon completion of the transaction, the management teams concerned would become independent of Natixis as it was previously known.
