Founded in 2005, Oman Investment Corporation is a private equity firm that focuses on investment in small to medium sized businesses within Oman and the GCC. The firm provides capital within the oil & gas, power & water production, construction, building materials, aviation, manufacturing, financial services, IT & management systems, environmental and mining sectors with the aim to enhance the economic development in Oman. The firm is a joint venture between Gulf Investment Corporation (GIC) in association with Oman's National Investment Fund Company (NIFCO), State General Reserve Fund (SGRF) and BankMuscat.
