The Mid-Atlantic Venture Funds primary investment interest is in purchasing the equity securities of new, young or growing businesses located in the Mid-Atlantic, although it has invested elsewhere. Its preference is to invest as early as possible in a company. It does not restrict its investments to any particular industry, and with the exceptions of biotech, storefront retail, real estate, construction and natural resources, will consider ventures in any field.
