Asia Growth Capital Advisors (AGCA) is a spin-off team from Credit Suisse Private Equity Asia (CSPEA), a private equity firm that focuses on secondary direct transactions within India and South East Asia. AGCA's mandate is to provide liquidity solutions for PE funds/investors that are looking to monetize their PE investment holdings. In Dec 2012, AGCA successfully acquired a growth-oriented investment portfolio from CSPEA alongside limited partners HarbourVest Partners and Axiom Asia via a direct secondaries transaction. The underlying portfolio companies were repackaged as Unity 1. The vehicle did not seek third party capital from other limited partners and go through the fundraising process.
