TCA Fund Management (TCA) is an independent investment management firm that focuses on private equity, private debt, and hedge funds. The Firm offers services involving senior secured, short-term lending, and advisory services to small, mainly listed companies and across a variety of business sectors. TCA utilizes three different financing instruments to structure lending to companies that meet its funding requirements: asset-based lines of credit, contract or event financing debentures, accounts receivables, and combined PO/invoice discounting facilities in certain limited instances. The private equity arm targets small-sized enterprises and operates across a variety of business sectors. In May 2020, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) filed a complaint in the United States District Court against the firm for violation of the Securities Act, Securities Exchange Act, and the Investment Advisers Act.
