FGI Capital Partners, formerly known as OGI Capital Partners (OGICP), was established in March 2009 as an alternative investment manager that specializes in Japanese equity, venture capital, and private equity investments. In April 2011, FinTech Global Incorporated acquired OGICP and renamed it FGI Capital Partners. FGI Capital Partners makes seed and early-stage investments in technology start-ups, with a focus on markets in Japan, Greater China as well as other Asian countries.
