Four Seasons Venture was founded in Oslo by Birger Nergaard in 1985 and joined by Gunnar Rydning in 1986. The firm raised three funds between 1986 and 2000, pursuing an early stage direct investment strategy in the ICT sector. FSV later spun into Verdane Capital Advisors, an active fund manager in PE and direct secondaries.
