German Capital was an independent finance and investment house that specialized in long-term and individually tailored capital solutions for mid-sized enterprises, family enterprises, and management teams. The firm primarily invested in buyouts of technology and service companies with a focus on Germany, Austria, and Switzerland; however, it also actively sought buy-and-build options in other European countries. German Capital targeted opportunities characterized by profitability and sound cash flow, a strong market position, and long-term growth potential. It invested across a range of industries, including cleantech, consumer products and services, business services, industrial, medical instruments, and technology. In 2010, German Capital became part of Partners Group, the global private markets investment manager.
