Vorsprung is a direct investment boutique that has offices in London, UK, and Hamburg, Germany. The firm primarily seeks to prove capital for SMEs and founders and acquires German middle-market companies alongside families and institutional investors. Vorsprung is a traditional, long-term PE house and not a short-term LBO firm. The firm acquires stakes in middle-market companies, provides patient capital, holds stakes for the long term, and continues to work with founders post-acquisition (unless the founder requests a full exit). Vorsprung solely invests in family-owned businesses that have succession issues or are in need of growth/expansion capital. Importantly, VIH will only invest in family-owned businesses, that do not want to sell to traditional Private Equity.
