Ecosystem Ventures is a seed-stage venture capital and strategy consulting firm based in the Silicon Valley, US with offices in Switzerland and India. The firm focuses primarily, but not exclusively, on companies that are based in Europe or have strong European ties. It invests in companies during the seed round and work with entrepreneurs to grow their businesses until the first large institutional investment (Series A). In March 2016 Ecosystem Ventures announced a merger with Lausanne, Switzerland-based Polytech Ventures, to form Polytech Ecosystem Ventures.
