Demea Invest is a fund manager that is established in 2025 with the merger of two French fund manager Demeter Partners and Cerea Partners that will invest in private equity and private debt investments in startups, SMEs, and mid-sized companies, driven by an ambitious vision. Through this merger, the two management companies – along with respective fields of the agri-food value chain (Cerea) and the energy and ecological transition (Demeter) – are combining its investment experience and sectors expertise to finance and support businesses and infrastructure projects with the prospects for sustainable growth. Demeter Partners is a Paris-based fund management company focusing on private equity, infrastructure, and natural resources investments in France, Spain, and Germany. The firm has offices in Paris, Madrid, and Germany. In November 2016, Demeter Partners and Emertec Gestion announced their merger to become a significant European private equity player in the environmental and energy transition sectors. The private equity arm of the firm is dedicated to innovative start-ups, SMEs, and infrastructures in eco-industries, eco-energies, and modern-day hazards. The infrastructure arm of the firm invests in Europe, primarily in France, in the fields of environment and energy transition. The targeted sectors of the firm are eco-industries (Agricultural technologies and waste management) and eco-energies (renewable energy, energy efficiency, district heating, public lighting, energy storage, eco-mobility, and green buildings). Cerea Partners is a France-based private equity and private debt firm offering a diversified range of private equity, mezzanine, and senior debt financing solutions. The firm invests in small and lower mid-cap companies within the food and beverage sector, supporting them in buyouts, CSR transitions, and growth acceleration initiatives across Europe.
