Investments were focused primarily across North America, Asia, and Greater Europe. As of July 2015, Fortress Investment Group formed a strategic alliance with Mount Kellett to co-manage Mount Kellett's investment funds and related accounts. The Mount Kellett Funds are no longer making new investments, although in certain limited circumstances, some Mount Kellett Funds may make follow-on investments into existing portfolio companies. The firm officially ceased operations in Q2 2024.
