Krungthai Bank is private equity firm was formed in 1966 through the merger of two government-owned banks, Kaset Bank and Monton Bank. The firm offers a range of financial services including personal and corporate banking, deposits and loans. In 1989, the bank was listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand. With its headquarters in Bangkok, Thailand, Krung Thai Bank has over 500 branches across the country. The firm focus on start-ups, expansion stage investment in information technology, agribusiness, medical, online banking sector across Thailand. Krungthai Bank has also launched its maiden venture capital fund, SME Private Equity Trust Fund, in Q3 2016.
