Ignis Asset Management was an asset management company. Ignis, formerly Resolution Asset Management, was rebranded in November 2008. It was totally independent and managed assets of UK and overseas retail and institutional investors. Ignis’ joint ventures were: European high alpha boutique Argonaut; dedicated UK equity experts Cartesian; emerging markets specialist HEXAM and Maia, the multi-manager boutique. Standard Life completed the acquisition of Ignis Asset Management in July 2014.
