The LBK Fund focuses on microcap companies that can be acquired at very low PE multiples (2-4 times earnings before tax) and operated for cash flow. The average company earns between one and two million dollars and has a long history of earnings (7-25 years). Competition for these smaller companies is much lower because of their size. They produce a 25% plus IRR from present cash flow even when sold in 5 years for the same price paid at purchase. LBK operates primaily in the southeastern region of the US and concentrates on consumer-related low tech businesses (no manufacturing) including retail, services, and healthcare. The firm is no longer active.
