About
Investcorp India Asset Managers formerly known as IDFC Alternatives targets real estate and private equity business across India. The firm entered the real estate space in 2010, targeting the acquisition of office properties and residential debt deals that generate medium term high yield residential development projects through partnerships with quality developers. It then seeks to divest the properties through IPO and trade sales for capital gains. Within private equity, the firm focuses on mid-sized firms in the agnostic sectors in India, North America, Europe, MENA and GCC. In January 2019, Investcorp acquired IDFC Alternatives’ real estate and private equity businesses, thereby changing its name to Investcorp India Asset Managers.
