About
Abu Dhabi Investment Council (ADIC) is one of four investment arms used by the government of Abu Dhabi to invest financial surplus generated from its oil exports. The other organisations are Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, National Bank of Abu Dhabi and Invest AD (formerly known as Abu Dhabi Investment Company). ADIC makes direct, secondary, and fund of fund investments in private markets and in listed and unlisted companies across the globe, with a particularly strong focus on Abu Dhabi's economy. It seeks to invest across venture capital, growth equity, buyout, and distressed to debt/credit opportunities globally and may seek to co-invest. In March 2018 Abu Dhabi Investment Council became part of the Mubadala Investment Company group, another sovereign wealth fund of UAE.
