Collimate Capital is a specialist investment manager with a global network of investment partners. The firm is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the AMP Group, a financial services firm that provides superannuation and investment products, insurance, financial advice, and banking products. Collimate Capital offers investment expertise across a range of asset classes including equities, fixed income, direct and listed infrastructure, and direct and listed property. Collimate Capital manages investments globally in the UK, Europe, Asia, North America, Australia, and New Zealand for both private and institutional investors through its specialized investment vehicles. It targets a wide range of infrastructure and natural resources sectors, including power, utilities, airports, healthcare, and other social infrastructure assets. Within real estate, it pursues a range of strategies, including acquiring core, income-producing assets, and opportunistic property development projects in Australia and New Zealand. The firm targets shopping centers, offices, and residential and industrial assets. Collimate Capital used to manage several private equity and hedge funds but has now outsourced its private equity and hedge fund programs. On 23 April 2021, AMP Limited announced that it will spin off and rebrand its private market business, AMP Capital – this includes infrastructure equity and debt as well as its real estate unit. The spin-off is expected to be completed in the first half of fiscal year 2022 and will subsequently be listed on the Australian Securities Exchange. Upon listing on the ASX, its name will be changed to Collimate Capital. On 30 November 2023, Dexus achieved the final completion of the acquisition of Collimate Capital’s real estate and domestic infrastructure equity business. Formerly AMP Capital’s international infrastructure equity business, InfraBridge is now a division of DigitalBridge Group, Inc.
