Nedbank Capital Private Equity is the investment subsidiary of South African investment bank, Nedbank. The firm participates in management buy-outs and buy-ins of unlisted companies, as well as provides expansion or acquisition capital, replacement capital, introduction and/or funding of Black empowerment investors and de-listings. Nedbank Capital Private Equity seeks to invest in any industry sector, with the exception of real estate, and in companies which exhibit an established profit track record and earnings growth potential. The firm no longer invests or operates as a private equity fund manager for third-party investors but invests from Nedbank's balance sheet. The firm does not invest in property, primary agriculture, and primary mining sectors.
