Ibersuizas is a capital investment company with over 15 years of investment experience during which it has become one of the leading private equity firms in Spain. It was formed by a group of strategic partners that provide not only capital, but also ideas, contacts, investment opportunities, local geographic presence and varied industrial experience. Ibersuizas seek to invest in a diversified range of sectors excluding financial services, real estate and IT. Towards the end of 2010, the investors in the firm's two funds decided to terminate their relationship with Ibersuizas and rely on Portobello Capital’s founding partners to continue to manage the funds, resulting in the first GP removal process in the Spanish private equity market.
